Heirloom Portraits have become incredibly special to me. After having two children of my own, I've seen how quickly time goes by and how truly precious each stage is. Documenting those precious features really shows off your little ones in a timeless and classic art piece to cherish forever. They're only little for a little while. Take the photos, preserve those sweet memories. I would love to help you do that!
About 8 months to 10 years of age. They will need to be comfortable sitting up straight.
Heirloom Portraits are one of the easiest sessions to capture for children who don't tolerate photos well. Most of the work is the editing process. These are usually quick and easy and I can get what I need within just 5 minutes or LESS! Don't stress if your little one doesn't do well. If we are unable to capture anything we can use, we will work out a price adjustment or reschedule for another time.
The session payment is due in full the day of the sessions via cash, check or a requested invoice. If you would prefer to pay with a debit or credit card, please reach out to request an invoice prior to your session.
Heirloom Portraits are fairly simple to capture but tedious to edit. I want your portraits to be perfect and I take the time to be sure they look great! These portraits are often made into large prints and used for composite prints - this makes it even more important that the images are edited properly. This process can take up to 4 weeks.
You will receive your gallery via email from a website called Pixieset. This is the same platform used when you book your session and sign the session contract. Please double check that your email address is correct before submitting when you book!
Dressy clothing is best! Clothing they would wear to church or special event. White, Ivory, Pale Yellow, Navy, Baby Pink & Baby Blue photograph best for these. Outfits with round, square, lace or scalloped bibs/collars are ideal. For shoes, dress shoes or barefoot both look great.
It is best to avoid bright, bold and neon colors as well as stripes, patterns and large check plaid.
